In her current role as the Chief Data Scientist at HireVue, Lindsey is transforming traditional hiring with algorithms that understand candidates as whole people, including interview responses, coding abilities, and cognitive skills instead of just facts on a resume.

Before moving into the private sector, Lindsey was an academic researcher with a doctorate in Applied Physics. She performed novel experiments and data analysis, publishing scientific research about applications in medicine, sensing, and signal processing. She started her career in data science in healthcare to improve the lives of people with chronic health conditions.

Lindsey received her Ph.D. from Rice University. Her work and insights have been featured by CNBC, NPR, The Wall Street Journal, BBC, and the MIT Technology Review.

Lindsey lives in Salt Lake City, Utah with her husband Coco and their two boys, Joaquin and Rafael. She loves to ski and hike.
